Beloit, WI (November 26, 2019)A motorcycle and a pick-up truck collided on Monday evening after 6:30 p.m. There was one confirmed injury as a result of the accident. The motorcyclist was the injured party. It is unclear at this time how serious the injuries were.

The Beloit Police Department was called to the scene and local EMS were also on the scene to provide aid to the injured motorcyclist.

The incident took place in the southbound lanes on US 51 and Newark Road. The accident caused the lanes on US 51 to close for many hours.

The authorities are still investigating the details of the crash.
