Belvidere Township, IL (February 20, 2020) – Multiple cars collided at the intersection of Spring Creek Road and Whispering Pines Way in Belvidere Township during the early afternoon hours on Thursday. There were injuries reported as a result of the crash.

The incident was reported to have occurred at 1:50 p.m. Authorities with the Belvidere Police Department blocked off the area around the crash which closed the intersection down. The public was told to avoid the area.

The number of injuries and their severity has not been confirmed.

The BPD is investigating what factors played a role in causing the crash.
