Boone County, IL (November 8, 2019) – A serious accident in Boone County took place during the afternoon on Friday. At approximately 1:20 p.m. a truck and a semi-trailer collided. Injuries were reported and at least one party was trapped in their vehicle.

The accident took place in the area of US 20 and Pearl Street. The severity of the injuries has not been confirmed. There were significant delays in traffic after the accident.

Multiple first responders came to the scene including the police, at least one ambulance, and the fire department.
