Loves Park, IL (February 24, 2020) – An automobile accident with injuries took place in Loves Park in the early morning hours around 7:50 a.m. The incident happened in the area of the Loves Park Fire Department Station #2 near Clinton Road and Windsor Road.

Reports stated that there were two vehicles involved and moderate damages sustained by both of the vehicles. Authorities with the Loves Park Police Department were on the scene. Injuries were also reported and according to the authorities, there were minors occupying one of the vehicles. It is unclear what caused the accident and the severity of the injuries was not released.

The LPPD continues to investigate the crash.
