Multi-Car Accidents In Rock County
In 2017 in Wisconsin, there were 298 fatal multi-vehicle crashes according to the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS). That same year almost half of all the road deaths were on rural roads. The statistics show that rural areas with higher speed limits also tend to have drivers exceed those speed limits leading them to drive excessively fast. Speed is a leading cause of crashes. When speed is involved, the risk for severe injuries and death increases substantially.
