Rockford, IL (February 20, 2020) – An accident in Rockford was called in on Thursday afternoon. The incident took place at approximately 3:00 p.m. near the intersection of North Second Street and Y Boulevard sources say.

There were at least two people that sustained injuries as a result of the crash. At least one SUV from the Rockford Police Department and an additional squad car were called to the scene. The incident was between two light-colored sedans.

The RPD told the public to avoid the area while they worked the scene. The factors which lead to the crash have not been released. The RPD continues to investigate.
