Rockford, IL (March 7, 2020) – The Rockford Police Department was called out to the scene of an accident on Friday night, according to sources. There were injuries confirmed as a result of the crash. The incident took place at the busy intersection of Newburg Road and Redansa Drive near the YMCA.

The number of injuries and the seriousness of the injuries has not been released by the authorities. The Rockford EMS were also on the scene. No reports of hospitalizations have been confirmed.

The RPD continues to investigate the cause of the accident.
