Rockford, IL (December 18, 2019) – According to the Rockford Police Department, an accident took place on Wednesday afternoon around 2:45 p.m.

Reports indicate that this accident resulted in injuries. At this time, authorities have not released the names of the injured victims or the extent of the injuries that were sustained in the crash. This injury accident occurred near the intersection of Custer Avenue and North Rockton Avenue.

One ambulance was witnessed at the scene and provided aid to the injured parties.

It is unclear at this time what caused the accident. The RPD is still investigating and will provide additional information as it becomes known.
