Rockford, IL (November 8, 2019) – A vehicle crashed into a building in Rockford this afternoon around 5:30 p.m. The incident took place at the 2300 block of N. Main Street. At this time, it is unclear how many victims were injured in this incident.

The driver of the vehicle that hit the building was unconscious when police and paramedics arrived at the scene. Ambulance transportation was required to take the driver and other injured victims to the nearest hospital for treatment.

The authorities are still investigating the cause of the crash. At this time, we do not know if alcohol was a factor.
