Rockford, IL (January 1, 2020) – According to sources an accident took place on New Years Day around 9:00 a.m. The incident was reported to have occurred at North 2nd Street and River Lane. The authorities confirmed injuries resulted in form the crash but the severity and the type injuries incurred have not been made public.

The Rockford Police Department and the Rockford Fire Department were on the scene to help assess the damages and provide aid to the injured parties. It is unclear if any of those injuries required transportation to the local hospital.

The details related to the cause of the crash have not been released. The RPD is still investigating the crash and asking that the public avoid the area.
