Rockford, IL (February 18, 2020) – According to sources, multiple collisions occurred at the intersection between Charles Street and Washington Street during the afternoon on Wednesday. There were injuries confirmed, but the severity of the injuries has not yet been released.

Authorities from the Rockford Police Department were on the scene along with an ambulance and the Rockford Fire Department. One of the cars was a silver sedan that incurred serious front-end damage.

It was not confirmed if any of the victims were transported to the hospital for treatment.

The RPD is still investigating.
