Rockford, IL (March 21, 2020) – An accident that caused injuries took place during the afternoon on Saturday in Rockford. The Rockford Police Department was called out to the scene at West Riverside Boulevard and Huffman Boulevard.

The incident was called in at 4:45 p.m. The RPD asked the public to avoid the area while they worked the scene. It is unclear what caused the accident and the RPD continues to investigate.

The extent of the victims’ injuries is not known at this time.
