Rockford, IL (February 16, 2020) – A serious automobile accident took place during the early evening hours on Sunday. There were several injuries reported as a result of the accident that occurred on Bus-20, approximately one mile east of Alpine Road.
The severity of the injuries and the details of the crash have not been reported. The Rockford Police Department and officials from the fire department were on the scene providing aid to the injured parties.
The accident happened at 6:30 p.m. The factors which caused the crash are not known at this time. Authorities are still investigating the crash. There were delays in traffic as a result of the crash.
