Rockford, IL (November 16, 2019) – A dog attack has taken place during the evening hours in Rockford on Friday night. The incident occurred at around 10:00 p.m. According to sources, emergency personnel and the Rockford Police were called to the scene where a dog was actively attacking both a man and a woman on the 600 block of Score Street.

A passerby that witnessed the incident took action by calling the authorities to come and provide assistance and aid to the dog attack victims.

The victims climbed on top of a vehicle to get away from the dog. Injuries from the attack were reported. It is unknown at this time who the owner of the dog is. Information regarding the severity of the injuries has not been released.

The authorities are investigating the details of the incident.
