Rockford, IL (November 16, 2019) – An accident was reported to be severe near the 3200 block of Auburn Street on Friday night. The accident took place at approximately 10:15 p.m.
The Rockford Police Department, as well as the Rockford Fire Department, came to the scene to assist with the injured. Sources report that at least one individual needed to be extricated from their vehicle.
An alert was put out to avoid the area while the authorities were assessing the scene and providing aid.
The cause of the accident has not been released. We do not know the current condition of the injured victim at this time.
The RPD continues to investigate the cause of the accident.
