Rockford, IL (November 18, 2019) – A serious accident took place around 3:45 p.m. near Route 76 and Waco Way. Two vehicles were involved in the accident, one being a school bus. The passenger vehicle that was involved in this crash rolled over as a result of the impact. The incident occurred in Boone County.

There were no children on the bus at the time of the crash but the bus driver sustained injuries in the wreck. There were also reports of injuries in the car that rolled over. An ambulance was needed at the scene to transport at least one party to the hospital for treatment. The severity of the injuries is unclear at this time.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
