Rockford, IL (November 12, 2019) – Authorities were called to the scene of a serious accident where multiple injuries were reported. The incident took place at approximately 2:00 p.m. in the eastbound lanes on Spring Creek near Parkview.

In addition to the police, a minimum of three ambulances came to help provide aid to the injured parties. Three vehicles were reported to have been involved, as well as, a semi-truck. The severity of the injuries is unknown but none of the injuries are considered to be life-threatening.

The eastbound, as well as the westbound lanes of Spring Creek between Parkview and the 251 on-ramps, shut down due to the severity of the accident and the wreckage.

The investigation into the cause of the crash remains ongoing.
